Rosemount Pre-Storage Process

Condition Report

Thorough inspection including photographs.

Vehicle Onboarding

Paperwork completed, keys handed over and unique ID assigned.

Interior Protection

Protectors applied to drivers seat, steering wheel and floor.

Exterior Wash

Delicate hand wash and chamois dry.

Interior Clean

Vacuum and wipe of all interior surfaces.

Engine Check

Engine fluid levels and battery check.

Tyre Check

Tyre pressures increased to prevent flat spotting during storage.

Brake Application

Brakes applied to remove any wash residue and surface rust.

Fluid Monitoring

A drip tray is slid under the car to monitor any fluid loss.

Battery Monitor

A deep cycle battery conditioner is attached to maintain battery level.

Soft Car Cover

A soft, breathable car cover is applied.

Final Report

A final report of pre-storage completion is created and sent to the owner.

  • Every 60 days – fluids and pressures checked, engine started, vehicle run up to temperature to lightly exercise mechanical and electrical components.

Departure Process

When you are ready to collect your car we make sure it is ready to go. Our departure procedure includes:

  • Registration check
  • Battery, lights and horn checked
  • Fluid levels checked
  • Screen wash topped up
  • Tyre pressures set
  • Interior and Exterior finished
  • Radio checked, clock set
  • Quality check carried out prior to hand over
  • Door to door delivery service available or collect from us
